That this House notes the 50th anniversary of the Bellahouston Sports Centre which opened in 1967 as the Bellahouston Leisure Centre, the first dedicated community sports facility of its kind in Scotland; and congratulates all the hard-working staff and enthusiastic community sports groups and individuals who have enjoyed the facilities over the years and helped make this first class facility supported by Glasgow City Council a sustainable and viable community asset.
