That this House warmly congratulates Kinlochshiel Shinty Club for its dramatic 3-0 win over Oban Camanachd Club to win the Marine Harvest Premiership for the first time in its 59-year history; recognises its determination and skill in fighting its way up from the lowest league to the highest over a number of years, gaining on the way the Division Three Balliemore Cup as well as in 2011 the notable success of becoming the only team ever to win a league with a 100 per cent unbeaten record, going on to a further historic victory in 2016 when it won the MacAulay Cup; and notes that the club enjoyed a further accolade as being the only shinty team referred to in the Runrig song, Clash of the Ash.
