That this House recognises the lifelong contribution and commitment to the traditional Scottish music scene made by Dundonian accordionist Arthur Spink; notes the worldwide recognition and acclaim he received and the influence he had over thousands of men, women and children who became involved in traditional Scottish music; further notes the help and assistance given by Arthur to all who approached him; and welcomes and acknowledges with respect the tributes which have been made to a great musician who will always be remembered for his unique talent, a true braw lad.
