That this House applauds the enthusiasm and dedication of the teams behind the innovative Café Solace projects in Ardrossan, Kilbirnie and Irvine; notes that these projects are run by volunteers in recovery, who are working hard to put something back into their communities; appreciates the efforts they are making in providing low cost, good quality food which they also serve alongside important information about local services and support; acknowledges the transformative impact this work has had on individuals and communities; congratulates all involved with Café Solace on its success in being shortlisted for a 2017 COSLA Excellence Award which recognises the impact of the hard work these volunteers and front-line staff have put into tackling inequalities and improving health; and wishes Café Solace every continued success with its excellent work on this innovative project.
