That this House expresses its concern for the status and identity of EU citizens living in the UK; notes that since the referendum on the UK leaving the EU, many EU citizens in the UK have felt increasingly unwelcome; further notes worrying reports of increased harassment; is concerned at figures from the Office for National Statistics showing that more than 120,000 EU citizens left the UK after the referendum and that that trend has continued; notes the Home Office's reluctance to provide answers to those whose standing in the UK remains unclear;notes the corrosive effect of the continuing ambiguity surrounding the status of EU citizens; and calls on the Government to confirm and uphold the rights of EU citizens living here in the UK.
