Pension Arrears Owed To Former Rhodesian Civil Servants

That this House calls on the government to make the necessary financial arrangements to enable the Government of Zimbabwe to pay the pension arrears owing to the former civil servants of the Crown who responded to the directive of the Governor of Southern Rhodesia, confirmed by the then UK Prime Minister, that they should remain at their posts and carry on with their jobs, to maintain law and order, after the Southern Rhodesia Government made its Unilateral Declaration of Independence on 11 November 1965.
