That this House congratulates the Blackwood Horticultural Society on celebrating its 144th anniversary; notes that this society was established in 1871 and is one of the longest standing societies of this sort in East Kilbride, Strathaven and Lesmahagow constituency; commends the society's dedication to its stated objectives of horticulture, agriculture, home industry and public health; further congratulates those successful in the organisation's 144th Open Exhibition and Competition; and wishes for its continued success for many years to come.
