Policing At The Appleby Horse Fair

That this House commends the police for its hard work in Cumbria surrounding the Appleby Horse Fair; recognises the Government's failure to provide Cumbria Constabulary with the funding needed to protect communities from anti-social behaviour; and calls on the Home Secretary to provide immediate provision for additional policing for the districts of South Lakeland and Eden to ensure peaceful and orderly conduct from 2019 onwards.
