I Am Me Queen's Award For Voluntary Service

That this House congratulates the Renfrewshire-based charity I Am Me for winning the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service in recognition of I Am Me's dedicated volunteers; recognises that this well-deserved award celebrates the outstanding contributions made to local communities by groups of volunteers; notes that I Am Me is a charity that aims to change attitudes and behaviours so that disabled and vulnerable people in Scotland feel safe; recalls that it is currently Scotland's charity of the year; commends its innovative and engaging range of resources, which aim to educate young people and the wider community about disabilities, bullying exclusion and hate crime; acknowledges that I Am Me's award winning Keep Safe partnership initiative works with local communities to create a network of places where people can Keep Safe; and wishes all the best for I Am Me in the future.
