That this House congratulates Renfrew Football Club for its recent promotion to West Region Premiership from Superleague First Division; appreciates that this is a big turnaround for the club, which just three seasons ago was without a home and playing in the third tier of junior football; highlights the efforts of co-managers Colin Clark and Martin Ferry and the whole squad; commends the work done by the committee and the backroom staff to help turn the club's fortunes around; notes that the club has seen great progress from all of its teams, including boys, girls, ladies and under-21s; understands that this season the Club has also hosted schoolboy international matches and offered New Western Park for training facilities to the Costa Rican men's national team and the Polish Women's national team; and wishes Renfrew FC continued success for next season.
