That this House congratulates Miller & Carter restaurant in Newton Mearns on winning the East Renfrewshire region category at the National Pub and Bar Awards 2018; notes that the National Pub and Bar Awards reward the industry for overall retail excellence, best practice and individual entrepreneurship; understands that Miller & Carter Newton Mearns will compete against 93 other county winners for the regional and national awards on 23 May 2018; pays tribute to the work of General Manager Mark Thomson and all the staff of the restaurant for this achievement; and wishes the restaurant every continued success for 2018 and beyond.
