That this House welcomes the decision of Waitrose to remove disposable cups from its stores; recognises the increased efforts to reduce the amount of plastic used for its products; notes the reduction in cost for councils to clear coffee cup litter from the streets; further notes the environmental benefits of removing non-recyclable coffee cups from retailers; and calls on the Government to strengthen its plans to reduce non-recyclable waste in the UK.
