That this House notes the research conducted by CLIC Sargent; further notes that CLIC Sargent found that families of cancer patients in NHS hospitals can pay up to £10 a day in car parking fees; notes that cancer treatment can cost young people and their families £600 per month in additional expenses; understands that such costs impose serious financial burden.on patients with a long-term condition; and therefore demands that the Government abolish car parking charges for cancer patients and their families.
