Usman Ali And The Queen's Young Leader Award

That this House congratulates East Renfrewshire resident Usman Ali on being the first young Scot to be named a Queen's Young Leader for his work to improve social and economic opportunities for young people in the community and his wider public service; recognises that he is the first young Scot to be recognised with this prestigious honour, being awarded to 60 young people across the Commonwealth each year between 2014 and 2018; and understands that the award will be presented to Usman by Her Majesty The Queen at a ceremony at Buckingham Palace in June 2017.
