That this House congratulates Bethany Firth on twice winning gold at the Rio 2016 Paralympics and on setting a new world record by completing the 100 metres backstroke in 1 minute 4.05 seconds; acknowledges the pride felt by her achievement in her home village of Seaforde, County Down, and throughout Northern Ireland; and praises the hard work and determination that Bethany Firth and other Paralympians from Northern Ireland have displayed while competing at the very highest level.
