That this House congratulates the success of Aileen and Stewart Currie on their café, The Bagel Basket in Largs, being awarded Best Café and Bistro in Scotland in the Food Awards Scotland 2016; recognises the hard work and commitment of Aileen, Stewart and their staff in delivering an exceptional service and fine food; commends the Bagel Basket on being the only café in Ayrshire nominated for the competition and for obtaining victory in both the West of Scotland region and across the nation as a whole; welcomes the opportunities which Food Awards Scotland offers individual businesses, to showcase their culinary talents on the national stage and to represent their local areas; and wishes Aileen and Stewart all the best as the reputation of their business continues to thrive, offering high quality foods and meals to the people of Largs, Ayrshire and Scotland.
