That this House congratulates Kinlochshiel Shinty Club on its historic Macaulay Camanachd Cup victory beating Inveraray 5-3 at Mossfield Park, Oban; recognises that this is Kinlochshiel's first major senior national trophy in its history and acknowledges this is the latest high water mark in Shiel's best ever season, which also sees it remain contenders for the runners-up spot in the Marine Harvest Premiership; and welcomes the attempts by the Wester Ross side, formed in the late 1950s from an amalgamation of Kintail, Lochalsh and Glenshiel, at community engagement and providing opportunities for young peole to get involved in shinty in the local community and surrounding areas.
