That this House recognises and celebrates Bookbug Week 2016, which runs from 16 to 22 May 2016; notes that the theme of the week is Around the World with Bookbug; encourages families to attend the range of events happening across Scotland; further notes the significant impact that reading can have on life chances; and commends the Scottish Government on the Bookbug scheme, which provides free books to every young child in Scotland, contributing to the aim of making Scotland the best place in the world to grow up.
