That this House welcomes the launch of the Glow Gold September campaign which aims to raise the profile of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month by encouraging iconic buildings to illuminate their facade in gold; notes that the campaign was started in Edinburgh by parents whose children were diagnosed with cancer and who have made it their mission to improve knowledge of early signs and symptoms, research, treatment and prognosis for all families affected; further notes the campaign has the backing of a number of cancer charities, including CLIC Sargent, CCLASP, Love Oliver, Star for Harris, When You Wish Upon A Star and the Howat Foundation; further welcomes the participation of around 200 buildings and landmarks in Glow Gold's first year, including Edinburgh Castle, the Kelpies, The Hydro, Canary Wharf, Beacon Arts Centre, Althrop House, Alnwick Castle, Gateshead Millennium Bridge and the 360 Tower Chicago; congratulates the team for building an inspiring grassroots campaign with global impact; and wishes the campaign every success in its mission to light the skies gold during September 2016.
