That this House congratulates all of the Highland dancers of the Margaret Rose School of Dance in Helensburgh on their recent success, particularly Eilidh Gammons, Catriona Gammons, Isla Flint, Skye McSorley, Iona McSorley and Rhiannon Charles who have performed tremendously well this season by winning and being highly placed in the Scottish Championships, the Argyllshire Championships and the British Championship; acknowledges the hard work and dedication of the schoolâs founder and principal teacher Margaret MacInnes who, since she established the school in 1972, has introduced thousands of children to the joys of traditional Scottish dancing with an ethos of competitive fair play and mutual respect; commends every one of the parents and guardians of the children who give up so much time and incur so much expense in helping their children pursue such a worthwhile and rewarding activity as Highland dancing; and as the school approaches its 45th anniversary, wishes everyone involved in the Margaret Rose School of Dance all the very best for the future.
