Commissioning Through Evaluation And Patient Access
EDM number 318 in 2016-17, proposed by Andrew Gwynne on 12/07/2016.
Categorised under the topic of Health services.
That this House welcomes the work of NHS England's Commissioning through Evaluation programme in delivering life changing and potentially life-saving procedures to patients; notes with serious concern the plans to suspend patient access to procedures while NHS England conducts an assessment of data; is concerned about the lack of transparency around how long the assessment of data will take; and urgently calls on the Government and NHS England to accelerate the assessment of data and to ensure patients can access procedures while the assessment phase is ongoing.
This motion has been signed by a total of 9 MPs.
