That this House congratulates the Kinlochbervie Community Company on its recent Awards for All Scotland grant of £9,200; recognises that the community interest company is a charitable organisation that aims to initiate and develop community improvement projects that are beneficial to all members of the community as well as attracting visitors; notes that the group has recently bought part of the Loch Clash Pier and intends to use the funding for an options appraisal and business development plan aiming to establish a community hub facility that will be utilised by the communities in Kinlochbervie and the surrounding areas; further notes that possible uses of the facility include a café, bunkhouse accommodation and a heritage room; and commends all of the volunteers of the Kinlochbervie Community Company for their valuable time and effort dedicated to improving and developing their local community.
