That this House congratulates Support in Mind Scotland on its recent grant of £495,367 from the Big Lottery Fund's Investing in Communities funding; recognises that Support in Mind Scotland is a charity that aims to improve the quality of life of individuals who have been affected by mental health illness, including family members and friends who have provided support and care to loved ones; notes that the grant will be used to fund a project to develop a self-management support service for people with severe mental illness across the Highlands and Argyll and Bute regions; further notes that the project will build on the experience and learning acquired through the management and development of its pilot self-management project; and commends all the fantastic staff and volunteers at Support in Mind Scotland who work tirelessly to support many families throughout Scotland.
