That this House recognises the essential service that has been provided continuously by the New Quay RNLI in Ceredigion for 152 years; notes the numerous lives saved at sea as a result of their work; commends the long and devoted service of many of its volunteers; welcomes the recognition of the service provided by several of its long-standing volunteers by Rear Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence in April of this year; congratulates Roger Davies who was made an Honorary Life Governor after 54 years of continuous service; further welcomes the recognition of Trevor Evans who received a Bar to his long service award for 50 years of continuous service; welcomes the recognition of Rees Tom Jones who also received a Bar to his long service award for 40 years of continuous service; and wishes the New Quay RNLI and its volunteers continued success for the future.
