That this House congratulates Natasha Kerr from the old mill town of Catrine in East Ayrshire for her Scotland's Youth Worker of the Year and Volunteer of the Year awards from YouthLink Scotland; pays tribute to her outstanding dedication to her work in mentoring young athletes with the Catrine Youth Club, Kilmarnock Harriers and East Ayrshire Vibrant Communities through her Ayrshire College course; commends her for overcoming the challenging personal barriers of self-mutism and being on the autistic spectrum; celebrates her being nominated by the YWCA as one of the 30 most inspiring women under 30 in Scotland; notes in Volunteers' Week the importance of volunteers to youth groups, charities and voluntary organisations throughout the country; recognises that volunteering helps to develop individuals giving them valuable experience, transferable skills and increasing self-confidence, making them more employable; and thanks those volunteers that were there to support, encourage and help Natasha along the way to develop into the remarkable young woman she is.
