That this House congratulates the Ormlie Community Association Ltd (OCA) on its recent Awards for All grant of £9,660; notes that the OCA aims to improve the Ormlie area of Thurso by providing friendly services to the community such as support groups for young people, children, young mums and pensioners, enabling individuals to come together and meet new people in a fun and relaxing environment; recognises that the OCA has improved the area by building high-quality play areas and a home zone; further recognises that the funding will be used to support the continuation of the Silver Citizens' Service which organises activities for those aged over 60 such as IT, cooking sessions and arts and crafts as well as introducing new sports groups and additional IT sessions; and commends the staff of the association for providing a successful, friendly and community-centred service for the residents of Ormlie and the surrounding areas.
