That this House recognises the vitally important contribution made by Jean Armitage to the further understanding and awareness of the needs of people living with dementia in Argyll and Bute, on the occasion of her retirement from Alzheimer's Scotland, after 22 years of dedicated service; acknowledges her immense contribution as policy and engagement manager in making possible the establishment of the brand new Dementia Resource Centre which opened in Helensburgh in 2016; commends her work as a dementia champion in promoting best practice among local business and the wider community about how best they interact with those living with dementia; and wishes Jean and her husband all the very best in their new life in Cyprus.
