That this House congratulates the Common Wheel project, based in the Maryhill area of Glasgow, on its first 15 years as a registered charity; recognises that it is one of Glasgow's most highly valued mental health charities and provide a social rather than medical method of supporting people towards mental health; appreciates the hard work and commitment of all the staff and volunteers in delivering the service; notes that Common Wheel secured its first bike workshop in Maryhill in 1999, secured charitable status in 2001 and has since opened a second workshop in Bridgeton in 2006; acknowledges the success of the Build Your Own Bike course which supports people with mental illness to rebuild an old bike for their own personal use and helps to build a sense of achievement as well as the freedom and exercise that a bicycle enables; further recognises that the service helps clients develop life and employability skills as well as making new friends and, most importantly, having fun; is aware that the charity also operates a music project which provides participatory music activities for people with mental illness across Glasgow; believes that everyone at Common Wheel should be especially proud that this nomination came from one of its clients who has affirmed the extraordinary difference that the service has made to his life; further congratulates the charity on being shortlisted for the 2016 BBC Radio Four All in the Mind award; and wishes it success at the award ceremony on 27 June .
