Keith Rutherford, Colonsay Post Office

That this House pays tribute to the work of Keith Rutherford, the Post Master in the village of Scalasaig on the Isle of Colonsay, who is entering semi-retirement after 40 years of dedicated service to the island community; acknowledges that in addition to his Post Office duties, Keith also chaired the Colonsay Community Development Company for 10 years and in his numerous voluntary roles, has been one of mainstays of the local community council, the Colonsay Heritage Society, as well as the Colonsay Trading Company; and joins with the entire population of Colonsay in thanking Keith for his outstanding contribution to the wellbeing of the island and its people and wishes him all the very best in his well-deserved semi-retirement.
