That this House congratulates Kilmarnock FC on securing another season in the top flight of Scottish football following its resounding 4-0 second leg play-off victory against Falkirk; notes that this will mean that the 2016-17 season will be its 24th consecutive season in the top flight, a fantastic achievement for a provincial club, with only three clubs bettering this run; further notes the spirit in which the two play-off games against Falkirk were played and commends the Falkirk fans for staying to support their team right to the end at Rugby Park despite their disappointment; notes that the fans refer to the team as Killie FC, but also that the wider community uses the term Killie to refer to the town, and requests that the club recognises this when trying to use copyright of Killie; and notes that as the club goes forward the fans are requesting off-field changes to bring further harmony to the club and hopes that all can move forward together in a positive spirit thereafter.
