That this House congratulates Friends of Kelvindale Railway Station and Kelvindale Art for its inspiring plan to transform Kelvindale train station into a vibrant open air art gallery, wildflower and butterfly garden; commends their pioneering vision to open the first open-air railway art gallery of its kind in Scotland; notes that funding has been provided by the Glasgow Community Planning Partnership, Grow Wild, and the Scotrail Biodiversity Fund managed by Keep Scotland Beautiful and overseen by the Scottish Government's Climate Change Challenge Fund; appreciates the determination and imaginative vision of Helen Ntabeni in realising the project; understands the importance of creating civic art spaces that will engage the local community and local school children in outdoor learning and provide a healthy and beautiful environment to enjoy; and wishes Friends of Kelvindale Railway Station and Kelvindale Art all the very best in its ambitious endeavours to engage the imaginations of the local community and encourages the community to get involved.
