That this House is concerned that discrimination against assistance dog owners is widespread, with three-quarters of owners surveyed in the UK refused access to a business; recognises that owners of assistance dogs are entitled by law to access goods and services without discrimination; applauds the efforts of Guide Dogs for the introduction of disability equality training to raise awareness of the Equality Act 2010; and understands the emotional impact on assistance dog owners of facing discrimination and confrontation when trying to carry out everyday activities.
