That this House notes the introduction of a sugar tax at City Hall by the Mayor of London, the hon. Member for Uxbridge and South Ruislip, and across NHS England by Simon Stevens this week; is pleased to see progress on the issue of a sugar tax being made after the campaign led by Jamie Oliver last year; and hopes that the Government will make further progress on this in order to combat the health issues of obesity, tooth decay and diabetes.

This motion has been signed by a total of 6 MPs.
