Categorised under the topics of Disability discrimination and Students.
That this House condemns the Government's sustained attack on the Disabled Student Allowance; notes that the austerity programme has disproportionately hit disabled people who happen to be financially burdened students; further notes that passing the cost to universities may result in a substantial decrease in access to higher education for disabled people; believes that higher education should be available to all, regardless of financial situation, disability or background; and commends the SNP Scottish Government for protecting this funding and continuing its support for access to education for disabled people.
