Tim Peake's Principia Mission To The International Space Station

That this House congratulates astronaut Tim Peake on his Principia mission and on joining the International Space Station crew for Expedition 46/47 on 15 December 2015; notes that Tim Peake will be the first British European Space Agency astronaut to visit the International Space Station, where he will spend six months as part of the international crew; and further notes that the mission will encourage students and young people to get involved in technology and engineering, and to study science, technology, engineering and mathematics subjects that will set them up for future careers in those industries.
