That this House celebrates the cultural contribution of J. M. Barrie to Scottish literature and history; welcomes with great excitement the work of the Peter Pan Moat Brae Trust, which was created with the vision to open a Centre for Children's Literature and Storytelling, and a Neverland Discovery Garden, in the place where J. M. Barrie was schooled and drew inspiration for Peter Pan, Moat Brae in Dumfries; urges the campaign to inspire children to write, read, learn and imagine; and supports the work of the Trust and its determination to aid the regeneration of the local economy and prospects for tourism in the south west of Scotland.
