That this House recommends that Claims Management Companies (CMC) regulation be made more effective by transferring oversight to the Financial Conduct Authority; and further recommends that reform cover transparency in all aspects of CMC involvement in claims, scope of current regulations, compliance and enforcement of rules, improvements to conduct rules, and a clear process for those affected by CMC activity to highlight poor and bad practice.
