Hospital Car Parking For Nurses

EDM number 685 in 2015-16, proposed by Yasmin Qureshi on 10/11/2015.
Categorised under the topics of Health services, Health staff and professions and Roads.

That this House is disappointed that three-fifths of England's hospitals are still charging nurses as much as £114 a month to park on-site despite Department of Health guidelines which state NHS trusts should provide free or reduced parking fees to staff working shifts; notes that parking costs take up a disproportionate amount of nurses' low pay; and therefore calls on the Government to consider scrapping hospital parking fees for nurses across England.

This motion has been signed by a total of 5 MPs.
