That this House recognises and applauds Còisir Ghà dhlig Mhealbhaich's success at the recent Mod; notes that the choir is again National Champion having won all awards in the Fluent Rural Choirs Class in Oban; further notes that Còisir Ghà dhlig Mhealbhaich is the only Gaelic Choir from the mainland ever to have held the following awards simultaneously: the Lorn Shield, awarded to the most outstanding Choir in the Fluent Rural Choirs Class, the Captain Angus Stewart Memorial Trophy, the Dalriada Cup, the Miss Catherine MacDonald Silver Baton and the An Comunn Gà idhealach Monetary Award; and congratulates members of the choir, their conductor, Mr Raymond Bremner, and the Choir President, Mr Pat Kieran, on the level of excellence shown by members drawn from North Sutherland and Caithness in this, the Choir's 40th Anniversary Year.
