England And New Zealand Rugby League International Series
EDM number 644 in 2015-16, proposed by Greg Mulholland on 03/11/2015.
Categorised under the topic of Sports.
That this House welcomes the rugby league international series between England and New Zealand, with three test matches on 1 November 2015 at Hull's KC Stadium, on 7 November 2015 at London's Olympic Stadium and on 14 November 2015 at Wigan's DW Stadium; further welcomes the players and staff of the touring New Zealand Rugby League team, the number one ranked team in the world and current Four Nations Champions, to the UK for this three-match international series; notes that this will likely be the last international rugby league before the 2016 Four Nations involving England, Scotland, New Zealand and Australia; wishes all involved well in what will be an outstanding series of international rugby league; and wishes both teams good luck, but hopes that England can win and restore pride to English and northern hemisphere rugby.
