Habib Rahman And The Jcwi

That this House commends the work of Habib Rahman, who retires from his position as Chief Executive of the Joint Council for the Welfare of Immigrants (JCWI) in October 2015, after serving in that role for 16 years; congratulates Mr Rahman for leading so effectively the JCWI, an organisation which campaigns for justice, the advancement of rights and elimination of discrimination in immigration, nationality and refugee law and policy; applauds Mr Rahman's unwavering advocacy for the protection of people's fundamental rights; and wishes Mr Rahman well in his retirement.
