That this House congratulates Girvan Youth Trust on gaining an award of Â£50,000 from Young Start; acknowledges the value of providing a structured volunteering programme for young people; recognises the difficulties faced by voluntary organisations in securing ongoing funding; and commends the Scottish Government and the Big Lottery Fund Scotland for their roles in ensuring money from dormant bank and building society accounts are redistributed to support projects like Girvan Youth Trust help young people reach their full potential.
