Volunteers At The Heart Of Trustees Week 2015

That this House recognises that Trustees Week will be taking place between 2 and 8 November 2015; notes that this is an opportunity for Parliament to highlight the sterling work that volunteer trustees carry out, with very little fanfare, but which is of great value not only to the charities in which they volunteer but also the communities which they serve; believes that Trustees Week offers charities the chance to draw attention to the opportunities for people from all walks of life to get involved and make a real difference in governance; and wishes to thank all those volunteer trustees involved in charities, no matter how small or large, for their on-going contributions to charities across Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland and wish them well for the years ahead.
