That this House congratulates the Women's Institute (WI) on reaching its centenary year; highlights the fact that the first meeting of the WI in the UK took place in Llanfairpwll, Anglesey, on 16 September 1915; notes that the Llanfairpwll WI is still an active and treasured part of the Anglesey community; further notes that UK membership of the WI stands at over 212,000 members across 6,600 WIs; and welcomes and supports the excellent work undertaken by the WI across the UK and throughout the world.
