Paul's Pledge

That this House commends the Paul's Pledge campaign which works to campaign against alcohol-fuelled violence; praises the work of Paul Pugh on this campaign who was left in a coma for two months following an unprovoked assault outside a pub in 2007 for which four men were jailed; further commends Paul for bravely using his experiences to campaign against alcohol-fuelled violence, particularly amongst young people; highlights the documentary Paul has made as part of this campaign to document his experiences including having to learn to walk again; commends Dyfed-Powys Police in its support for the campaign; supports the simple message Paul's Pledge asks young people to make to walk away and think twice; and encourages more young people to take Paul's Pledge.
