Finnieston, Glasgow, Home Of Britain's Hippest Place

That this House warmly welcomes news that Finnieston in Glasgow has been judged by The Times to be Britain's hippest place to live; considers that Finnieston, which was one of only two Scottish communities to be nominated for the award, has been greatly transformed as a vibrant community in recent years from a former warehouse and docklands to a trendy, professional neighbourhood with excellent bars, restaurants and music venues, including the SSE Hydro and Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre; and believes that this latest award bestowed on Finnieston confirms yet again that People Make Glasgow.
