National Walking Month 2013

That this House recognises that walking can improve physical and mental health, provides opportunities for families to spend time together, reconnects people to their local community and can save people money; notes the Living Streets National Walking Month campaign to inspire people to walk more; and calls on the Government to support Walk to School Week and Walk to Work Week, which encourages people of all ages to walk more when going about their daily activities.
