Ewing Sarcoma Cancer Awareness

That this House notes with concern the lack of awareness and knowledge of Ewing sarcoma; further notes that this form of cancer is more prevalent in children and teenagers and notes the pain, anguish and struggles faced by sufferers and their families; further notes the saddening case of Natalie Purvis from Dundee who lost her fight, aged 21, this year after a two year battle and numerous misdiagnoses; and calls on the Government to ensure that proper training, guidelines and funds are available to GPs, radiographers and hospital consultants to ensure that early signs are spotted in young people and treatment is given before it is too late.
