Chatsworth Gardens Funding

That this House notes that Lancaster City Council has now confirmed thatit hasthe funding to match the Government's 1.9 million earmarked funding for the redevelopment of Chatsworth Gardens; further notes the real concerns raised by residents and the hon. Member for Morecambe and Lunesdale that the project may have been shelved because the Council was seemingly unwilling to match-fund the Government after successfully securing this funding; applauds the Council for pledging to go ahead with the project; and thanks Steve Swithin for leading this campaign on behalf of residents in the West End of Morecambe.
