Palestine And Israel

EDM number 759 in 2012-13, proposed by John Hemming on 21/11/2012.
Categorised under the topics of International politics and government and Middle East.

That this House is saddened by the deaths of innocent people in Palestine and Israel; recognises that the result of such deaths is an emotional response where some people on both sides are driven to seek revenge in preference to peace; believes that for negotiations to succeed there needs to be sufficient demand for peace that a rational response overwhelms those on each side that do not wish forpeace; and calls on the international community to concentrate its efforts on finding routes towards stopping the killing.

This motion has been signed by a total of 13 MPs.
